Audiobook Services

Readers have spoken, and we have listened. These days, they prefer books in a format that will easily fit their busy lifestyles. That is why we offer you a solution that allows you to tap into your readers’ multitasking ways: audiobooks. Now, your buyers can have their children "read or listen" to your book while they work, commute, work out, or even do their chores.

But exactly how popular are audiobooks among readers? In 2015 alone, there were 3.88 million audiobook downloads. That means there are many readers out there who like listening to stories. With our help, you can tap into that market by making your book available in audio format.

The Professional Audiobook package includes:

• Narration by a professional voice-over actor or actress

• Your digital copy of the audiobook

• Intro, beginning, and end background music for your audiobook

• Availability of your audiobook through Overdrive, Audible.com, Amazon.com, and iTunes

• ISBN Registration

***The default retail price set will be $9.99 minimum. You will get 100% royalty for every sale, the same as for eBooks.

Process for Audiobook

1. Choose the Voice Over Package

2. Payment of the chosen Package

3. Submission of the materials for production

4. The project goes into the Production stage. The turnaround time will vary depending on the client's choice of service.

5. Send the proof/audiobook draft to the author for approval.

6. Uploading and distribution of the audiobook.

Book-to-Screen Services

Script Coverage

A professional reader will review your book for adaptation potential. Coverage is a tool the entertainment industry uses to determine a book’s potential for adaptation to film, television, or digital media. Your coverage will consist of two main elements:

  • A thorough synopsis that highlights the main characters and events in your story

  • A critical analysis that addresses key story points and the book’s viability should it be adapted to another medium is considered when evaluating a book's potential for adaptation. Things like production costs, genre, storylines, and character development are also considered.

Once your coverage is prepared, it will be submitted to at least three (3) producers, who will determine if they would like to option the book for adaptation.

Treatment

A treatment is a thoroughly developed full-length pitch that outlines how a producer would adapt your book into a visual medium like film or television. It is the first step to drafting a screenplay—an 8—to 10-page detailed story written for the screen (film, television, or digital). A professional screenwriter with experience adapting books to film and television will write the treatment for you.

By defining exactly how to approach adapting your book, you eliminate work for agents, studios, and producers. By giving them a visual outline of how to translate your book for the screen, you can demonstrate that your book has what it takes to succeed on the silver screen.

Once your treatment is complete, we will submit it to at least five (5) producers for review should they wish to option your book.

HOW IT WORKS:

  • From our network of screenwriters, we’ll match you with the one who best complements your book’s story and genre.

  • Your professional screenwriter will provide a thorough 8- to 10-page treatment detailing how he or she plans to adapt your book’s manuscript into a film and/or television screenplay.

  • The screenwriter waives all rights to the treatment, so you maintain full ownership of your story.

Screenplay Service

A screenplay is a fully developed script that television and movie producers can use to determine if an adaptation of your book is something they want to produce. With a professionally adapted screenplay, you will let Hollywood know you're serious about breaking into the entertainment business.

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Screenplay elements will include character dialogue and detailed action of the story, which will be written using industry-standard formatting and software.

  • The screenwriter waives all rights to your screenplay, so you maintain full ownership of your story. You could even produce the film yourself using your professional script adaptation!

  • Once your screenplay is complete, we will submit it to at least five (5) producers for review should they wish to option your book.
